Impact in word and deed

In the Letter of James we read that faith without works is dead. At Denny Baptist we believe that faith is not just a private matter, but is something that has to be lived out in the reality of everyday life. One of our goals is to make our community a safe and happy place to live and to improve the lives of residents. To that end we partner with a number of different community groups on a variety of community projects and volunteer at community events. We also make our building available as a community resource for groups such as the AA, the Denny and District Community Council, Aberlour Early Years outreach project, and others.

We also run a food bank called The Storehouse, partnering with other local organisations like Roots in Bonnybridge and the Community Flat in Denny, providing essential food and toiletries etc. to people in desperate need.
